Changing the way we use biomass waste.

Utilizing environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral processes to repurpose plant waste materials.

Founded in 2019, Florida BioProcessing (FBP) is a privately held manufacturing company headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Florida BioProcessing has developed environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral processes to repurpose biomass and biomass waste into consumable products. Xylose, activated carbon, and biocoal, along with many other products, are produced domestically in the US through their patented process.

Our Products

XYLOSE

Xylose is a natural sweetener derived using various forms of biomass and biomass waste. Xylose is perfect for combating obesity and for people with diabetes.

Xylose does not spike blood sugar and is one of the best low-calorie sweeteners on the market today.

ACTIVATED CARBON

Activated carbon (aka activated charcoal) is a substance that adsorbs other substances, such as impurities in drinking water. It’s often used to purify, dechlorinate, deodorize, and decolorize liquids and vapors.

BIOCOAL

Biocoal is a new carbon-neutral biofuel made from organic waste. Biocoal can replace fossil coal and wood pellets currently used as fuel in industrial processes including coal-fired plants and industrial heating of buildings.

Committed to Sustainability

Florida BioProcessing is dedicated to providing opportunities for processing biomass waste in an environmentally conscious and economically advantageous manner. Florida BioProcessing has an exclusive license for the patented process of extracting the natural sweetener xylose from sugarcane biomass waste in Florida.
