Changing the way we use biomass waste.
Utilizing environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral processes to repurpose plant waste materials.
Founded in 2019, Florida BioProcessing (FBP) is a privately held manufacturing company headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Florida BioProcessing has developed environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral processes to repurpose biomass and biomass waste into consumable products. Xylose, xylitol, activated carbon, and biocoal, along with many other products, are produced domestically in the US through their patented process.
Our Products
XYLOSE & XYLITOL
Xylose is a natural sweetener derived using various forms of biomass and biomass waste. Xylose is perfect for combating obesity and for people with diabetes.
Xylose does not spike blood sugar and is one of the best low-calorie sweeteners on the market today.
Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol found in fruits, vegetables, and fibrous plants. Used as a sugar substitute, it tastes just like sugar but has about 40% fewer calories and does not spike blood sugar levels.
Xylose converts into xylitol, which is then crystallized and purified.
“With our technology, we can put more money in [farmers] hands.”
